Monday-Thursday (9hr. day), Friday (4hr. day)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Actalent is currently hiring for a Project Architect to join a reputable firm in Columbus, Ohio with a primary focus in healthcare design. The client just won two large projects and is in the process of acquiring a third. You will serve as the team's technical leader and possess a comprehensive understanding of building codes and the factors influencing construction feasibility. Additional responsibilities include:

Transforming design concepts into precise construction documentsAssist the Project Manager as directedWork alongside the Project Designer, Interior Designer, and/or Planner to develop construction documents aligning with design objectivesCollaborate with the Specification Writer to ensure project technical requirements are metCoordinate quality reviews with other Project AssistantsLead owner/user meetings during the Design Development phase to ensure project requirements are incorporated into construction documents accuratelyConduct code reviews and liaise with code officials for necessary approvalsCoordinate and collaborate with EngineersCollaborate and coordinate with Builders (CM’s, GC’s, Developers, Owner’s Representatives, etc.)Work closely with equipment vendors for timely and proper installationReview and approve shop drawingsPerform Construction Administration duties

MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's degree in ArchitectureRevit experienceHave an active Registered Architecture licenseExperience PM'ing projects

NICE TO HAVES:

Experience within healthcare projects (including vet offices, urgent care, hospitals, etc.)
