Job Description
Lead the development of design work in a collaborative environment with multiple team members and multiple disciplines. Oversee the needs of multiple projects in various stages of development, engage with Business Development in pursuing project leads, and work with the Head of Design and Department Directors to manage project needs, milestones, and goals. Communicate effectively with executive staff, project team members, and clients, and engage clients to determine goals and understand project design delivery. Coordinate with the internal Engineering Director to meet project needs and work with the Estimating and Construction team members in preparing scope, design, and project approach. Manage design team members to execute the project plan and develop solutions to changes as they occur, and oversee the construction administration process to ensure conformance with design intent and construction documents.
Responsibilities

+ Coordinate with internal Estimating and Construction team members in preparing scope, design, and project approach.
+ Manage design team members to execute the project plan and develop solutions to changes as they occur.
+ Oversee the construction administration process to ensure conformance with design intent and construction documents.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
+ Experience with construction documents, design, and construction administration.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Experience in schematic design.
+ 5-8+ years of architectural design experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent comparable work experience.
+ Licensed Architect Preferred
+ Experience in detail and design development.
+ Experience and understanding of building systems, equipment, technology requirements, and detailing, and how they relate to construction.
Work Environment
(Lenexa, KS office OR Crossroads, MO office) Work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with multiple team members and disciplines. Utilize advanced software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate with various internal teams including Engineering, Estimating, and Construction. Engage directly with clients and manage multiple projects in various stages of development. The work environment fosters creativity and innovation, with a focus on achieving project goals and milestones efficiently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00
