Job Title: Project Architect Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to take projects from start to finish independently and be involved in all phases of architecture for high-end single-family residential projects. The ideal candidate will manage a team of junior staff, communicate effectively with clients, and coordinate with engineering trades. Proficiency in Revit and strong project management skills are essential. Responsibilities + Take projects from start to finish independently + Be involved in all phases of architecture: schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration + Use Revit to produce construction drawings + Manage a team of 1-3 junior staff and red-line as needed + Communicate with clients and maintain relationships + Coordinate with engineering trades + Travel to job sites as needed Essential Skills + Full proficiency in Revit + Ability to manage a team of junior architects + 5-10 years of experience in architecture for high-end single-family residential projects + Experience in all phases of architectural design and project management + Ability to produce construction documents + Strong client communication and relationship management skills + Knowledge of residential building codes + Bachelor of Architecture degree; licensure is a plus Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous experience managing a team of junior architects + Capability to handle up to four projects in any given phase simultaneously + Experience in design/build projects is a plus Work Environment The firm is a design/build company, specializing in high-end single-family residential projects. The team is small, with architects designing the projects and looking to expand by adding an Interior Designer. The firm is growing and offers opportunities for future growth and development. The recently promoted Studio Manager oversees all the work, and the firm is looking to bring on another Project Manager to manage a team along with an Interior Designer to streamline projects.
