Responsibilities Our expanding Aviation market sector is seeking qualified individuals whose professional experience has been primarily in delivery of airport and airline related facilities. The preferred candidates must have an ability to effectively communicate with a variety of technical and managerial professionals experienced in the design and operation of unique facilities that support airport terminals, airline operations and corporate flight operations. Successful candidates will bring specific experience in various aspects of terminal and concourse design including those elements associated with ticketing, baggage handling, security clearance, and other passenger processing and related operations. Airport concessions, retail, and airline club related experience would be considered a plus. Forecast and organize project design development and production delivery. Identify and address issues following protocol and procedure in order to reach the best resolution. Proficient in construction administrative processes. Establish and maintain Client/Owner/Contractor relationships Assist in developing project budgets and schedules, code and jurisdictional requirements. Manage change orders, applications for payment by contractors and other contractual modifications Offer onsite assistance in construction observation Qualifications Degree in architecture with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant professional experience the majority of which should be in the design and delivery of aviation and airline related projects Active RA license; LEED Accreditation preferred REVIT proficiency to create design and construction documents for all phases of project delivery Ability to successfully lead/organize a team of multiple disciplines and consultants Self-directed with clear and succinct communication and interpersonal skills Ability to organize project design development and production delivery for all phases of a project Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and adjust work to meet unexpected client driven deadline changes Ability to work with governing authorities in order to achieve design compliance and project permitting including requirements proscribed by federal agencies such as the Transportation Safety Administration, Customs and Border Protection, and other industry standards. Strong architectural and detailing skills Proficient in construction administrative processes Strong understanding of construction processes and methods #LI-EC1
