About this role

Sophisticated Architecture and Interior Design firm is looking to hire a Project Architect/Project Manager to work on a variety of high-end residential projects. This position is best suited for a candidate with several years of professional experience in New York City, who can expertly design custom interiors and manage projects at high level. Candidate should have experience with custom residential design, millwork design, and fine detailing.

Role and responsibilities

Create filing sets, detailed construction documents and bid sets for interior gut renovations and ground-up homes Communicate with clients, contractors and other vendors throughout projects Manage progress of work throughout all phases of design and construction Work directly with principal to manage and oversee all architectural aspects from concept through punch list of interior gut renovations to ground up homes 

Key skills and experience

A professional degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture Possess a strong work ethic and drive Excellent attention to detail is a must Experience with NYC building codes and filing sets Onsite experience with the ability to solve problems in the field Software proficiency needed for the role: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup
