Consulting & Project Management:

Performing economic analyses; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management to identify business cases relative to energy use.Consultancy related to project monitoring, evaluation, reporting, coordination, development & support for implementation in sectors related to PAT schemeProject Appraisal/Due-diligence, Monitoring and Reporting of energy performance of DCs under PAT schemePreparation of Policy related documents related to PAT scheme, under the guidance of BEECoordination with external agencies / SDAs/Regulatory AuthoritiesConsultancy related to Financing Energy Efficiency Programme (FEEP)Media & Outreach activities of various energy efficiency programme and policies and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning amongst stakeholders through workshops, seminars, and focused training programsUndertake financial assessment studies with regard to energy and environmental performance for DISCOMs and different consumer categories such as domestic, commercial, agriculture, industries, etc.Development of dissemination material such as case studies, documentaries, broachers, etc.Ability to evaluate technical and financial proposals received from various consulting firms and prepares summary reports.Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative research.

Other relevant areas:

Lead project delivery on specific deliverables/engagements assigned by the Supervisor, within a stipulated timeline, stretching when neededDemonstrate expertise in writing reports, making presentations, number-crunching & graphics/visualization.Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)Ability to resolve complex finance and accounting issuesGood communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi.

Required Skills & abilities:

Basic knowledge of Energy Efficiency, EC Act 2001 and Energy Conservation PrinciplesEducation: Post Graduation in Commerce or MBA (Finance) or CFA or ICWA or CA or CS with two years relevant experience.Minimum experience of 4 years which should include due diligence of projects & related experience commensurate with the assignment, roles and responsibilities expected to be handled by the candidate specifically in the areas of Energy Efficiency & Climate change.Experience in research paper writing, report writing, financial analysis of projects, assessment of financial cash flows of projects related to Energy efficiency or Renewable energy or Climate financingData analysis & related analytical knowledgeOther requirements: Only candidates willing to be stationed at the client/DISCOM office (Tentative location: Hyderabad) should apply.
