Project Associate: MMG Operations - Yonkers

Responsibilities: 
•    This position is accountable for planning, developing, and implementing project interventions necessary to the success of the Urgent Care Management/Documentation Improvement Program. 
•    Assist the department’s management team to set performance goals, analyze team and project performance, document and monitor workflows, and identify ways to increase team efficiency and service levels.  
•    Act as a facilitator in quality assurance of the department’s responsibilities.  
•    Assist in promoting self-directed team structure with significant attention to the use of technology, project reporting, and data reconciliation. Facilitate the creation, implementation, and revision of workflows within the Urgent Care Center and Bronx East. 
•    2 years of related work experience required.

Requirements:
•    3 years of healthcare experience preferred.
•    Must be extremely well organized with strong interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.
•    Must be able to develop tracking systems to keep organized and follow up on items. 
•    Ability to adhere to deadlines and multi-taking is important. 
•    Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills required.

HOURS: Monday-Friday 830A – 530P
Education: Associates Degree required; Bachelors Degree preferred

Associates are eligible to apply for a lateral transfer after completion of one (1) year of service in their present position, with the following exception: an Associate who has received a written warning is not eligible for a transfer/promotion prior to six (6) months from date of issuance; an Associate who has been suspended is not eligible for transfer/promotion prior to one (1) year from date of suspension. Part-time Associates who have completed their probationary period can move to full-time vacancies within their department provided such movement will not unreasonably reduce the operational efficiency of that department. Probationary period is three (3) months for full-time employees, and four (4) months for part-time employees who works more than 3/5 of the normal workweek.
