The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It’s Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Purpose Statement/Position Summary:** The Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute (CBDI) Administrative Operations Team is accountable for completing many of the administrative and project implementation tasks needed to support CBDI operations. As a member of the CBDI Administrative Operations Team, the Project Associate is responsible for providing necessary clerical and logistical support to key medical providers. This role will provide administrative support for our Division Chief and the day-to-day coordination of his office. Manages specific aspects of projects and will play a crucial role in assisting the Chief’s Project Manager in ensuring the completion of larger projects. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:** 4+ years of experience in leading development projects; Experience leading multiple projects at one time and comfortable with a fast-paced collaborative work environment; Very strong organizational skills and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Adept interpersonal/professional skills. Previous administrative experience and a Team player. It is essential that the candidate for this role be very detail-oriented, have strong critical thinking skills, be able to adapt to changing assignments, and consistently display professional behavior. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote) is preferred. Excellent calendar managing skills. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks with ease in a fast-paced setting that often has time constraints. **Education/Licensure/Certification:** Bachelor’s Degree required or High School with 8+ years of relevant experience; Project Management Certificate Preferred. **Pay Scale Information** $61,360.00-$110,573.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
