Job Description
The ideal candidate should have actual experience and thorough knowledge in reservations department. He/she should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, pleasant and well-modulated voice, and effective problem-solving skills.
The Reservations Sales Agent must exhibit courteous hospitality at all times. When in communication with a guest, he/she must be proactive in every area, including offering additional services and upselling.
Other standard responsibilitiesComply with the company policiesKnows all safety and emergency procedures of the hotelDrive and contribute to the overall efficiency of the departmentMaintain the confidentiality and privacy of any confidential documents, matters, and techniquesShould model the Company’s culture at all times.Take on other tasks as may be necessary or required
The Reservations Sales Agent handles local and overseas individual and group room bookings within assigned shift. He/she should be able to note accurately booking requirements, subsequent amendments, or cancellations.
