Description
The individual chosen for this position will be supporting the Internals department with commodities ranging from paint, preflight commodities, and deliveries. They will be working for the logistics department; working on both the global and challenger. This individual will be liaising closely with the production teams to ensure the flow of materials between different plants, different teams and from the supplier to ____x. They will be supporting the Witchita location specifically; with a focus on the service centers.
- Manage the procurement and flow of materials in order to meet scheduled operating needs within the set budget
- Manage POs and ensure they are processed with adherence to urgency
- Manage governance strategies
- Set up presentations for suppliers and execs
- Ensure the timely delivery of parts
- Supply all components to assembly line
- Be responsible for part delivery adherence to final line schedule
- Ensure disposal of obsolete/inactive inventory
- Co-ordinate inter-site demand
- Reduce as much as possible discrepancies and deviation from the plans by proposing lasting short-term solutions, and by raising the partners’ awareness to the impact of their work on profitability, client satisfaction and the employees themselves
- Manage inventory level and in-flow
- Release planned orders to relevant purchasing documentation
- Manage activities of non-conforming materials to meet schedule
- Manage incoming shipments (traffic in-bound)
- Ensure documentation is compliant to internal and external regulations (snags, C of Cs)
- Ensure engineering and manufacturing configuration (MAC PAC - old system)
- Participate in improvement projects and demand to supply process (cost reductions, manufacturing improvements, SAP, etc.)
- Support program management by participating in program reviews and by providing the information related to any changes in the schedules
- Support sourcing teams in negotiations and commodity projects

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must haves:
- Bilingual (English and French)
- MS Office (Excel: Pivot tables, Vlookups) Intermediate
- 6+ years of experience in purchasing, logistics or supplier management
- Previous experience with an ERP system (preferably having used SAP, Macpac, and BAAN).
Nice to haves:
- Academics relating to supply chain, logistics management etc.
- Excel
- Aerospace experience or previous bombardier experience
Disqualifications:
-\tSomeone who doesn’t understand PO s or PO processing
- Someone who cannot present to a room of execs with strong comms
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.00/hr.
