Job Description: Fluor, together with its joint-venture partner AECOM, has been awarded a four-year program delivery support services contract for the California High-Speed Rail program by the California High-Speed Rail Authority, to provide program delivery and program management services to support one of the largest planned infrastructure projects in the U.S. The system will connect the 500-mile stretch between the Los Angeles region with the San Francisco Bay Area, with up to 24 stations. The first phase of the program is currently under construction in California’s Central Valley. The Program Construction Director leads all ongoing construction activities and strategies within the Construction Office, guarantee that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual agreements. This role involves directing construction operations, coordinating efforts with staff, contractors, and consultants to meet statewide project objectives. The Director is responsible for maintaining a unified construction plan, defining execution parameters, and collaborating across departments to resolve issues and maintain project timeline and execution plans. By overseeing the development, implementation, and completion of construction projects, the Director ensures that schedule and budget goals are consistently met while advancing the HSR project’s plan and timeline. • Oversee and manage all ongoing construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contracts • Direct construction operations by collaborating with staff, contractors, and consultants to meet statewide project objectives • Maintain a unified construction plan, defining project execution parameters, and ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule and budget • Resolve issues promptly by collaborating with other functional groups and offices to keep construction projects advancing according to the plan • Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to established quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements • Manage the development, implementation, and completion of statewide construction projects, ensuring objectives are met effectively • Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and milestones • Support the process in effective contract management and compliance, working closely with the Contract Administration Office to address any discrepancies Job ID: 149363BR City: Remote State: California Country: United States We are an equal opportunity employer.
