Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Construction Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a large Rail and Transit project in the Washington DC area (Field Office -1401 T Street NE, Washington DC).
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Applicant shall be a Licensed Design Professional or Certified CM Professional.Minimum of 10-15+ years overall experience or equivalent including (10) years or equivalent experience in coordinating design review activities for expansion of yard or facilities and shop construction or renovation projects of major public transportation, this will be a Field Position.Must have proven abilities to manage a multidisciplinary team, interface with Client and Design-Builder teams.Must also conduct assessment and provide recommendations to the Client as requested.Will be the POC (including meetings) for Client communications with the Design Builder Contractor including RFI’s, Potential Change Orders, Client requests, Quality and Safety issues and Contract and daily reports.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Directs the overall planning of construction management activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.Conducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions.Manages the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and to meet budget goals. Keeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each phase of the project.Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.Prepares periodic reports summarizing progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients, including formal presentations.Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.Serves as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives for construction-related activities. Maintains strong client and community relations.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
