Project Contract Manager
Overview Responsible for overall management of a project contract during the pre-construction and execution phases. This position will be responsible for coordinating with the site leadership, Commercial Services and Legal teams to monitor and manage contractual terms. The Manager-Project Contract will work full time on the project site. Responsibilities Provide support to the Project Manager in the issuance and administration of subcontracts and purchase orders in accordance with Company’s contracting protocol Draft and deliver notices to clients in accordance with contractual requirements such as those pertaining to force majeure, owner-caused delays, and other excusable events Manage the contract change process including monitoring and tracking changes and claims resolution Review Application for Payments and project correspondence for conformance with contractual requirements Review and respond to Request for Information (RFIs) that request clarification of contractual requirements Perform project closeout steps to ensure all contractual requirements are met including administration of certificates and warranties Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or relevant discipline; or equivalent experience Three+ years of recent experience using construction management software Five+ years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex construction projects in the $30MM to 150MM range Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Strong knowledge of construction contract requirements, contract change conditions, claims analysis and negotiations, change order cost estimates, and time impact analyses Experience with Viewpoint, Procore, and Project Controls software Subject-matter expert in contract management principles and techniques Understanding of common construction agreement provisions including warranties, limits of liability, risk of loss, schedule milestones/LD’s, force majeure, and change orders Ability to interpret difficult and complex contractual provisions Strong organizational skills, initiative, and meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel) What's in it for you: Financial Wellbeing Competitive pay with ongoing performance review and merit increase 401(k) with company match & Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Flexible spending account (Healthcare & Dependent care) Health & Wellness Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (plan choice) - coverage for spouse, domestic partner, and children Diabetes Management, Telehealth Coverage, Prescription Drug Plan, Pet Insurance Family & Lifestyle Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Bereavement Leave Military Leave, including Differential Pay and Benefits Continuation Employee Assistance Program Planning for the Unexpected Short and long-term disability, life insurance, and accidental death & dismemberment Voluntary life insurance, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity coverage Emergency Travel Assistance Program Group legal plan Position may be subject to pre-employment screening, which may include background check and drug testing.
