Job Description SummaryThe Project Contract Manager supports the execution of complex engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) power plant contracts with a special focus on managing commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities
Supports complete project lifecycle including negotiations, contract interpretation commercial issue management, claims, disputes and insurance claimsAnalyses and summarises critical topics in customer, partner and vendor contractsDrafts commercial correspondence, amendments, claims and settlement agreements and other contractual documents,Participates in negotiations of project changes and claimsReports on commercial risks and opportunitiesLeads insurance recoveriesActs as the project team’s contractual and commercial expertRequired Qualifications
This role requires significant legal and contract management experience experienceKnowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited universityProven experience in managing complex Engineering Procurement Contracts (EPC) in United KingdomProven track record managing contracts within the energy and/or oil & gas industryDesired Characteristics
Strong commercial awareness and expertise within all aspects of contract managementAbility to foresee commercial issues and develop/influence resolution strategyExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve commercial challenges proactively and preventivelyHigh degree of autonomyAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
