Project Scheduler

We are looking for a Project Scheduler to join our EMD team!

As our Project Scheduler you will support its Commercial Business Segment. This position will perform the necessary Project Control activities to support their assigned projects, which include but are not limited to: Project set-up activities in Oracle and Primavera; Assist Project Managers with development of a Project Work Plan; Develop and review project schedules, Work Breakdown Structures, cost budgets and revenue plans; Perform schedule and budget analysis to provide potential risks and opportunities; Person in this role should have the ability and experience to perform these activities with some direction on inputs required from Manager or Project Manager.

Your Challenge

Create and maintain project schedules depicting project pre-requisite activities, engineering activities, manufacturing operations, purchasing activities, and customer commitments in support of on-time delivery.  Analyze schedules to develop recommended action plans and priorities to drive schedule success.Create and maintain cost budgets for the assigned engineering and/or manufacturing projects.  This includes performance of Earned Value (EV) analysis as required.  Analyze budgets to identify risks and opportunities to meeting financial objectives.Perform Project Set-up Activities, maintain project information and work with other project team members to ensure project data structures are accurate and up to date.Support the Sales and Operations Planning process.  Update project completion estimates for active projects.  Create and manage cost and revenue estimates for forecasted projects.Support the Project Manager through all phases of a project beginning with quoting and creation of the Project Work Plan, through execution and close-out.  Assist with team meetings, customer meetings, action plans and readiness reviews. An individual must be strong in most of the Korn Ferry competencies listed below to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:Communicates Effectively, Collaborates, Instills Trust, Being Resilient, Nimble Learning, Customer Focus, Decision Quality, Plans and Aligns, Action Oriented, Optimizes Work Processes

What You Bring

BS Degree (or equivalent) in relevant field from accredited institution. Must be a US citizen and be able to qualify for a U.S. Government security clearanceGenerally requires one to seven years of prior relevant experienceUnderstanding of general business principlesSome amount of experience working in a team environmentSome exposure to manufacturingExperience with Oracle or other similar ERP systemAbility to review data and analyze problemsStrong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office & MS ProjectAbility to work as part of a team & with other functional groups
