The Project Controller II will understand the major business components and implications specific to accounting for Construction Companies and support the principles of Henkels & McCoy’s Project Management Methodology (PMM). Responsibilities Under general guidance, the Project Controller II supports the Project Team by performing job setups, and by validating, tracking and reviewing financial information related to: Cost measurement Customer invoicing Accounts payable Payroll entries Fleet and equipment utilization The Project Controller II aids in ensuring that team goals, roles, protocols, and business relationships are consistent with high-performance requirements and in line with the company's strategy. The ideal candidate will lead by example in an environment that fosters trust and candor, will maintain personal accountability, and communicate assertively and constructively with the client group and team members. Qualifications Required Skills: Working knowledge of financial tools, general accounting principles, and ability to master H&M systems (JDE and Oracle) Experienced in cost accounting, contract administration, or project management Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to interpret data/ statistical information Solid computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications Broad problem-solving skills Minimum Educational Background: BS degree in Accounting, Finance, related field; or equivalent experience Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 2-5 Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individual with Disabilities.
