What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Senior Director, Project Management Office (PMO) Program and Innovation. This position is primary responsible for assisting Project Managers and project teams in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules ensuring operational effectiveness, adherence to Enterprise Initiative Management Framework (EIMF) and Project Management best practices and acting as an additional point of control on project schedule execution. The Project Control Officer (PCO) will promote best practices in project schedule development and management including WBS development, resource allocation and levelling, schedule integration, time reporting, and schedule risk identification and mitigation.
What will you do?
Along with Project Manager participates in creation of detailed Project Schedules by EIMF phases:Assist Project Managers with Master Project Plan preparation and Work Breakdown Structure definition (WBS);Assist Project Managers & Team Leads with detailed project task list creation.Assist Project Managers & Team Leads in identifying task dependencies and constraints.Provides on-going maintenance of the Project Schedule using MS Project:Enters the detailed project schedule.Assists Project Managers with resource allocation and levelling.Monitors the project schedule for schedule variances and escalates schedule issues to the Project Manager as appropriate.Prepares weekly reports on the project schedule including Project Schedule Scorecards, Project Team Conformance Scorecards, Variance Analysis, PCO Project Status report, etc.Perform periodic Risk Assessment on the Project Schedule identifying potential risks/opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies to the Project Manager.Promotes best practices in project schedule development and management including WBS development, resource allocation and levelling, schedule integration, time reporting, and schedule risk identification and mitigation.Designs and implements appropriate project controls.What do you need to succeed?

Project Management knowledgeExperience working in project teams/ settings and managing resource allocationsExperience in Project and Board reportingAdvanced user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)Intermediate knowledge of MS ProjectNice to Have:
