Project Control Specialist
ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Junior** **Project Control Specialist** to join our team in **Chesapeake, VA.** This is an **onsite** position. We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented member to join our team and be at the forefront of innovation for the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)! As a team member, you will assist in coordinating operations and reporting across the NCTE enterprise, ensuring efficient project execution. Your efforts will drastically increase our forces’ training capabilities. If you enjoy working on a highly collaborative and dynamic team and want to make a difference for the warfighter, then we would love to have you on our team! **Responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Gather, analyze, and organize Program- and project-level data in for preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation and deliverables which enable internal and external senior leadership decision making. + Conduct formal and informal reviews throughout the project life cycle to review and track performance metrics against expected results. + Coordinate among internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed within contractual obligations, policy and process documentation, and related architecture. + Analyze the impact or potential impact of missed or inadequate performance on project execution and support high-level Program management. Develop and present reports on analysis findings. Draft documentation to support project activities. + Ensure the use of proper technical terminology across various documentation, and that information is clear, and documents can be used by technical and non-technical personnel. **Minimum Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 4+ years related experience or Associates degree in related discipline and 2 years related experience. + Experience with developing and presenting reports on analysis findings + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). + Strong technical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and 4+ years of relevant experience in the field or a related area. + Experience with Jira and Confluence. + Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. + Relevant work experience in a US Government environment, DoD preferred, and/ or with the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program is strongly preferred. + Working relevant knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) operations. + Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks. **Clearance Requirements:** + US Citizenship and active Secret security clearance. **Physical Requirements:** + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. + Constantly operates a computer and associated office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, computer printer, etc. + Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
