Position Overview:

 

The primary role of the Project Controls Specialist - Cost is to support all aspects related to the financial reporting, analysis, and controls for the eVinci Business Unit.  Provide financial and cost support to the Lead Project Controls Cost Specialist.  In addition, the Project Control Specialist – Cost is expected to make suggestions for process improvements where required and provide project level analytics insights.  This will require interaction across the eVinci BU for R&D, government contracts, and customer contracts.  

 

US Mobile or Remote role, with a mobile preference for a candidate at one of our offices 2-3 days per week.

 

Your Day to Day:

 

In this position, the Project Controls Specialist – Cost will be responsible for the following activities related to the Program:

 

·       Consolidate and maintain the monthly financial reports and templates to reflect accurate reporting, planning, and forecasting of the multi-faceted project operations

·       Review financial results and variance analysis to identify potential issues or areas for investigation

·       Plan and coordinate the execution of the Annual and Monthly program forecasts

·       Calculate and report the monthly internal costing rates

·       Develop and provide the Central budgets, forecast, and variance analytics (incl. Marketing, B&P, USG, R&D)

·       Present the details of monthly or ad hoc reports during group or one-on-one meetings with senior BU finance and operational leadership teams

·       Provide support to project teams, proposal development teams, and corporate planning teams on a regular basis

 

Who You Are:

·       B.S. or B.A in Accounting or Finance or Equivalent

·       3-5 years of project related experience

·       2 years relevant project controls experience

·       SAP experience a plus
