Your role and responsibilitiesIn this position, you will assist with all financial and commercial aspects of the project. Each day, you will play a key role in enhancing the project's performance. You will also demonstrate your skills by preparing project financial accounting and reporting documents, including site accounting.Collaborate with the Project Manager and/or Project Finance Manager on all financial and commercial issues while actively contributing to the project's success.Offer financial insights to the organization by gathering and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and challenges, and effectively communicating information to relevant stakeholders.The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybridThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business SEA Countries. The role is based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDriving revenues and project cash flow in your assigned project and seeking for optimization.•\tOverseeing currency risk in project cash flow and implementing/suggesting appropriate mitigation measures.•\tSupporting in coordinating and preparing project reviews, cost reports, claim management, back-charges, and insurance cases.•\tResponsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as forcash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.•\tPartnering with other business stakeholders such as bids and supply chain management in daily financial advise.•\tAssisting the project team in identifying risks and opportunities, and in ensuring adherence to ABB’s corporate governance, assurance, internal controls, and business specific finance directives and instructions.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree or Professional Certificate in Accounting or Finance.More than 8 years of years of experience in Project Finance, Controlling and Project Analysis.Experience in financial project control, with a track record of successfully managing projects.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting.Fluent in English both written and verbal.
