Role description:
The project controller must ensure proper financial information for project management. The project controller is therefore in close relation with project management and involved in all stages of the project, beginning from prequalification phase until closing the project. The project controller is responsible for timely and correct data maintenance, facilitating project reviews, provides financial information to stakeholders and actively inform and challenges project management to manage the project risk(s).
Role accountabilities:
Ensures financials of projects setup in Oracle system done by project admin assistant and Ops are accurate as approved in GnG (Go no Go process). Monitoring and analyzing of project cost performance and take a proactive approach through the provision of early warnings to Project Managers for any critical deviations to forecast and provide support in the achievement of their respective KPI. Facilitate project reviews and prepare minutes and financial data. Ensure revenue recognition is aligned with works done and WIP calculated are valid. Ensure invoicing for the month is aligned with Oracle setup, works done and cashflow. Ensure administration of project outstanding receivables (including reimbursement and intercompany) to ensure target DRO is achieved, and client requests are attended together with Collection Assistant. Ensure subcon costs are correctly setup in Oracle ERP and assist payments to projects. Assist Project Managers in their Oracle reviews to ensure complete compliance. Work with Collection Assistant to ensure all payments received has Creditable Withholding Tax Ensure accuracy and validation with Project Directors regarding non labor expenses payments Ensures financials of projects close done by project admin assistant are accurate and signing off the project closure forms. Ensure proper processing of invoicing by the project admin assistant. Support the BA Controller in the completion of month end reportsQualifications & Experience:
Graduate of a bachelor’s degree preferably with Business course related. More than 5 years’ experience in project administration and/or Finance (FP&A) Knowledge of project management/ working within projects and projects steering methods. Skills to formulate and implement controls. Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to communicate and implement project control aspects with the different stakeholders. Should challenge project managers / Line Manager. Motivates project administrator (assistant) / team. Preferably Fluent in EnglishWhy Arcadis?
