We are currently recruiting for a Project Controller to be based in Stavanger to work in a 12 - month contract with the possibility of extension.
Job Description:
The Project Administrator provides administrative support to the Project Management. Deliver, maintain and manage cost management frameworks, procedures and tools. Support finance in license budgeting, Track, monitor and accurately report the projects commitments, value of work done (VOWD) and forecast. Actively support projects in preparation of standard project work breakdown structure for relevant project budgets. Preparation and collation of full project cost estimates across project phases. Identify issues and put forward recommendations for improvements. Assist in reporting requirements, planned and ad-hoc. Support the completion of the monthly cost report on dedicated project(s) working closely with project team members to establish cost/financial information and performance. Support the estimating process to ensure cost risks are identified and appropriately quantified. Review, analyze and challenge supplier and contractor cost- and study reports together with dedicated project control teams. Check contractor progress reports highlighting areas of poor performance through agreed KPIs to the Project Manager on dedicated projects. Cost management meetings with contractors on dedicated projects and internal departments involved in the cost process. Prepare and contribute to project reviews on dedicated projects. Maintain cost management system Focal point for interfacing with the finance team for reporting budget, monthly forecast and accruals. Qualifications: MSc or BSc in Business Administration or similar. 5-10+ years of relevant experience, early phase project experience will be preferred. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English. Pro-actively follow up on progress of deliverables. Self-organized, self-going. Excellent planning and organizing skills.
