Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support in all financial and commercial matters related to the project. Each day, you will actively drive their respective project’s performance. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting) documents.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Friedberg (Hessen).You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDriving revenues and project cash flow in your assigned project and seeking optimization, including ensuring the accuracy of project balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow forecasting (monthly/quarterly).•\tOverseeing currency risk in project cash flow and implementing/suggesting appropriate mitigation measures.•\tSupporting in coordinating and preparing project reviews, cost reports, back-charges, and insurance cases, ensuring accuracy in financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting).•\tAssisting the project team in identifying risks and opportunities, ensuring adherence to ABB’s corporate governance, assurance, internal controls, and business-specific finance directives and instructions, and supporting compliance with global and local financial policies.•\tSupporting the project team and Tender Manager in all financial and commercial aspects of the tender process, ensuring financial integrity and alignment with business objectives.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

You are highly skilled in financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, and risk management.You have first years of experience in project and business controlling, demonstrating a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership in achieving exceptional results.You possess an enhanced knowledge of risk management and project business, and you are highly adept in financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.You are passionate about attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking, and you are innovative around collaboration and solution-focused approaches.You hold a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a similar field.You are at ease communicating in German and English.
