Basic Job Functions:

The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for assisting in developing and executing the project controls plan for Nucor construction projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

•    Developing and maintaining performance tracking dashboard, reports and forms for contractor monthly reviews.
•    Analyze contractor data for performance with reports to project managers.
•    Assisting and/or leading contractor review meetings
•    Assist in Project Charter and Project Execution plan development for projects.
•    Assist in Developing project estimates.
•    Help to identify areas in need of project controls and work with teams to design and implement appropriate controls.

 

Must be willing to work before and after regularly scheduled work hours as business conditions warrant.
Depending on projects, travel 50% or more as needed to construction sites, engineer/contractor offices, corporate office, etc.

 

 

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

•    1-3 years construction project controls experience

Preferred Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s Degree Construction Management, Business or related field
•    Experience with Dashboard Development in PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tools
