Parsons has immediate openings for a Project Controls Analyst to join our PG&E Infrastructure division. In this role, you will perform a variety of project control assignments that require the application of basic techniques and analyses. You will assist in developing and implementing cost control support and provide planning and scheduling services to engineering, procurement, and construction activities for assigned projects.
As a Project Controls Analyst, you will gain exposure to company policies and procedures and utilize your professional training on a variety of assignments. You will have the opportunity to rotate through Estimating, Cost Engineering, and Planning/Scheduling assignments, further enhancing your experience and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for resolving complex project control problems.Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule.Assess the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.Report the status of schedules to appropriate project and company management, as well as to the client.Understand and apply engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts using this information.Customize project control systems to meet specific project requirements.Accumulate historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.Supervise and provide performance reviews for one or more lower-level Project Control Specialists and/or support personnel.Provide input to Senior Project Control Staff regarding staffing requirements.Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of related work experience.Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.Proficient PC skills, including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.What We Offer:
