NexGen is looking to add a Project Controls Engineer to their Augusta, GA location.

NexGen offers a wide range of self-perform services, which include supervision, administration, craft labor, materials, tools, documentation, consumables, and safety devices to successfully carry projects from start to finish.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or engineering from an accredited college or university and 3 years of experience, or 7 years  of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Basic computer skills and knowledge including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software and e-mail.Excellent organizational and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

Assist the project management team in developing the project cost work breakdown structure and job cost set upDevelop project invoice schedule of valuesManage the project cost earned vs actual value cost trackerManage vendor invoicesPrepare project change request and customer change ordersTrend project cost and report deviations from planPrepare projects for close-out including review of commitment against actual costPrepare monthly project financial reportsManager level 3 schedule (MS Project, Primavera experience preferred)
