Responsibilities\:

Assisting in the preparation and updating of the project planning sections of the PEP, setting up of planning software tools (Primavera,  Excel Spreadsheet, etc) During the project life, continually assisting in the interpretation project documentation, specification, design drawings to compare design quantities to baseline project costs Assisting in the preparation and updating of project schedule, monitoring man hours and “physical % progress” to establish trends and assist the analyst and reporting Participates in the development of the project WBS and CBS, and checking time charges to ensure correct coding on a weekly basis. Participates in the preparation of the schedule and project reports, including  project cost statements Assisting in preparation of benchmarking and close-out documentation Assist with cost/budget forecasts and assist in preparation of cost trend reports Assist with coordinating and assemble monthly progress reports *

Job Requirements\:

The ideal candidate will be a university student in engineering or business. Basic understanding of cost engineering, estimating and planning engineering terms contained in AACE and PMI standard practices. Some understanding of project delivery phases and activities performed in phase. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, individuals  both inside and outside the project team Strong work ethic, produces accurate and credible deliverables, meet deadlines Must be proficient in Microsoft project tools – Excel, Word, and Power Point. Working knowledge of scheduling software ( Primavera and or MS project) and/or cost management software is recommended

Salary - $47,249k/year - $69,484k/year
