Project Coordinator: Core ICI

Aplin has partnered with a leader in the construction industry to hire a Project Coordinator. In this role you will play a key role in organizing, administering, and overseeing project activities under the guidance of a Project Manager. In this role, you will collaborate closely with both the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure the successful execution of assigned projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project documentation, including meeting minutes, change orders, site instructions, owner’s instructions, shop drawings, drawing logs, progress claims, field notices, and sustainability requirements (LEED, waste management, erosion and sediment control, and materials testing).Establish and maintain project reporting procedures, such as cost reports, project status reports, document drawing control, and shop drawing documentation.Maintain accurate and up-to-date project logs (RFIs, vendor/subcontractor, purchase orders, owner-related documents) while tracking responses and updating stakeholders.Assist in trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoice management, and document control processes.Manage administrative tasks, including payroll, timekeeping, labour and equipment coding, purchase order tracking, and safety reporting.Review construction plans to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and ordinances (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and structural).QualificationsTechnical diploma in a construction-related field (CET) or equivalent construction experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, field drawings, and construction plans.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe or Bluebeam Revu.Strong understanding of construction trades, safety protocols, and building techniques.Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances, and legislation.
