Project Coordinator | TGPEC

ABOUT THE ROLE

Due to an internal deployment, we seek a compassionate, self-motivated individual with outstanding communication skills to join our dynamic Power Projects Team. This position is site-based and will involve working on a critical Transmission Project near the border of New South Wales & Victoria. The role requires a Fly-In, Fly-Out (FIFO) or Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) schedule, following a 20:8 roster, and includes a living-away-from-home allowance (LAHA) as well as a generous site uplift. You will report to the Project Coordinator Lead and work closely with the project manager and frontline leaders as part of a larger team.

Your day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to:

Raise invoices and purchase orders for approval and payment. Process supplier and subcontractor progress claims and invoices. Assist the Project Manager with monthly reporting, including running reports using various software packages such as Excel, JDEGs, and Hubble.  Assist the project team with managing the time entry systems (such as Kronos, Extrack, and Webtimes) Coordinate various activities and projects for the team to support a positive work culture and team environment, including site entry mobilisation and travel requirements. Liaise with critical internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and Downer employees

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in a cross-functional administrative environment (preferably with a large organisation) with a diverse skill set.  Intermediate proficiency with enterprise software applications and MS Suite (specifically Excel, Outlook and Word) is required. Experience with JDEGs will be an added advantage. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
