Project Coordinator – Equipment
Overview Responsible for the procurement and on-time delivery of equipment for new store development, including, but not limited to: Fixtures, Fittings, and Equipment (FF&E), Direct/Leasehold buys, and smallware needs. This role manages the takeoffs, PO development, logistics management, and budget management for the categories. The position solves business problems through the ongoing management of all equipment needs to support on-time opening of new stores within the pipeline. Overview of Responsibilities Perform equipment take-offs based on fixture plans and in coordination with standard FF&E ordering while identifying non-prototypical FF&E items specific to each project Issue purchase orders (PO’s) for new store fixtures, equipment and small wares for new stores, Manage and prioritize equipment delivery dates and workflows priorities and coordination with Construction Project Managers Work with Logistics Vendors to arrange, track, and expedite freight as needed In collaboration with Accounts Payable, ensure the payment terms are congruent with agreed MSA’s/Contracts and vendors are paid in accordance with terms Serve as key liaison to all equipment vendors Partner with Construction Managers and New Store Operations (NSO) partners to coordinate equipment deliveries are met and align to overall schedule needs Troubleshoot Workday FF&E, LHI/Direct Buy and small wares questions Record and maintain files and records of equipment requests Maintain master equipment lists for all FF&E, Direct Buy and Small wares in Item Master Account for all FF&E and Direct Buy expenditures and reconciliate by way of the Accounting Log #LI-LR1 Qualifications High school diploma required with three (3) years required procurement experience Preferred experience in Supermarket Fixtures and Equipment. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills Able to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Be process focused with emphasis on maximizing efficiency, including bringing new ideas for means and methods to improve overall process High attention to detail/accuracy/problem solving Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Teams Experience/high adoption rate with Smartsheet, Workday, Bluebeam Benefits In addition to a rewarding career, Sprouts offers a comprehensive program to help support you and your family.
