Under the daily supervision of the Director of Special Projects this position provides administrative support along with clerical tasks that aid the daily business operations of the organization.\n
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAY TO DAY:\n\nAssists with all phases of assigned projects, from project conception to plan design to execution to project completion.\nCoordinate and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.\nOrganize project kick-off meetings, track progress, and maintain detailed project documentation.\nAssists with tracking project progress, researching, reports, ordering, and overall duties as assigned through each project.\nSchedules consultants, contractors, vendors, and assigned funder meetings.\nMaintains SOPs and project-related documentation, including contracts, invoices, timelines, and payments records.\nResearches the projects to gain an in-depth understanding so that decisions can be made in the best interest of the organization.\nCreates Documentation, Meeting Minutes, and keeping updated Project Plan Updates.\nAssists in procurement and vendor management related to project tasks.\nMonitors and reports on project status, highlighting risks and proposing solutions.\nEnsures compliance with all internal policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.\nTracks project expenses and assist in maintaining budget compliance.\nSupports grant-related project tracking, reporting, and documentation as needed.\nMaintains a centralized system for tracking current and completed projects.\nAssists with special initiatives, events, or any other duties or tasks as assigned.\n\n
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:\n\nMinimum of an Associate's degree in Business Administration or other related field. \nMinimum of year of clerical or administrative experience in an office setting.\nMust be able to successfully pass a CORI\/Background records check.\nCompliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Religious and Medical Exemptions are considered.\n\n
