If you are an engineering professional looking for an opportunity to grow, we have an exciting opportunity for you based at our Natchitoches, LA location! As an Engineering Change Coordinator, you will coordinate all Engineering changes including new product pilots, and collaborate with plant quality, materials, engineering, production, and other functions. You will lead all related communications and activities at the plant level. In addition, you will support Corporate Design Engineering with parts and special product samples.
AS A PROJECT COORDINATOR, YOU WILL:
Act as plant liaison for ECN (Engineering Change Notices) and QPS (Qualifications, Pilots, & Specials) orders and handle ECN and QPS project lifecycle.Consult with partners on build priority to minimize production impact while meeting customer demand.Conduct comprehensive component and tooling asset review for availability to run schedule; coordinate acquisition of vital assets required for the run.Review product prints, specs, drawings, and vital tooling or programming needs to ensure successful builds.Ensure accurate ECN approvals are obtained.Be responsible for the QPS builds on the production floor, support actions needed to completion; working off schedule as needed.Apply QPS validation requirements throughout the run lifecycle.Disposition product builds via shipping per QPS instructions and manages inventory of on- hand parts; special parts inventory maintained and regulated.Execute actions in ETQ to run the QPS program builds, pilots, and samples as the need arises.Build required purchase orders, etc. using appropriate cost centers and AR reconciliation for labor allocation.Maintain updated status of all open ECN and QPS.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Diploma with two (2) years of project coordination experienceExtensive knowledge of products and processes within manufacturingProficient with Microsoft Office Strong organizational skills and proficiency in a multi-tasking environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsLegal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Four-year bachelor's degree; or an Associate's degree or two-year college/technical school with five (5) years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing facilityPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee would be required to: sit at a desk and work on a computer; navigate warehouse and inventory areas to access components; have visual acuity to properly inspect and discern prints and components; have manual dexterity to handle components; lift up to 35 pounds at a time. Accommodations may be considered for those who have limitations.
SCHEDULE:
The general working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional after-hour work may be required.

About Our Location
Alliance Compressors LLC develops, manufactures, and markets one through six-ton scroll compressors. Scroll compressors are used in commercial and residential air conditioning units. The current facility is over 365,000 square feet of manufacturing space and over 35,000 square feet of office space. This climate-controlled facility is the third-largest manufacturing business in the area, and offers its 600+ employees many opportunities for advancement.
