We are seeking a talented, design-sensitive, and ambitious Project Coordinator to join our Milwaukee Healthcare architecture team and shape the future of sustainable design! In this role, you will be integral to our project teams in all stages of design. Our practice works on a wide variety of project types and scales, so versatility to adapt to a variety of collaborative design team settings is necessary.
In this role you will: Develop concepts according to parameters defined by Project Manager or Project ArchitectProduce construction documents in Revit, including plans, sections and detailsAssist with quality control for the design function and integrates and coordinates all disciplines into the building projectMaintain ongoing communication to understand any project changes, design issues or time/budget constraints that may impact initial assignmentInteract and communicates effectively and professionally with other team memberUtilize past knowledge and experience to enhance the quality of product, recognize problem issues, communicates impact to team and seek clarity when necessaryAssure execution of and assist with quality control activities for architectural elements on a projectReview drawings, documents and submittals for document compliance and documenting code review and complianceKeeps lead architect or designated team leader informed of progressUse past experience and project knowledge to assist the Project Manager keeping in mind schedules and budgets and provides communication as appropriate with team leaders and/or team members who are responsible for work flow/timelines, etc.Meet project design schedule and design construction budgetAssist with cost estimates and evaluation of bids with project managerAssist with the preparation of analyses including alternates or substitutions to reduce costsPerform other duties as assigned You will need to have: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture 6-10 years of experience with small to large scale projectsAn interest in working in all stages of the design processEffective written and verbal communication skillsProblem solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail and motivation to learnProfessional and collaborative work ethicAbility to take initiative and work both in a team environment and as an individualProficiency in Revit, 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software; experience in Rhino/SketchUp, Enscape/V-ray/Lumion, InDesign/Bluebeam/Photoshop preferred Salary Information:The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Individuals in this role working more than 24 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in HGA’s robust benefit programs which include an annual bonus and success sharing bonus program, 401(k) guaranteed contribution, paid parental leave, medical, dental and life insurance plans as well as PTO and short- and long-term disability programs. Salary Range: $63,800 - $89,300.
