The University of Pittsburgh, School of Health Rehabilitation Sciences, Department of Rehabilitation Science Technology (RST) seeks a Project Coordinator to work in Pittsburgh, PA, to collect data and evaluate outcomes for multiple programs and projects within the Department of RST and other collaborating departments. They will develop databases to organize all project records, maintain data confidentiality, perform statistical analyses on evaluation data, generate reports, and create visualization dashboards for tracking the process of various programs. The incumbent will also obtain informed consent from survey participants and manage related IRB submissions.
Must have a master’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Rehabilitation and Health Science, Public Health, Evaluation, or a related field plus one (1) year of experience in the rehabilitation industry.
Experience must include one (1) year of clinical experience evaluating client needs and designing personalized treatment plans.
Must have any experience:(i) working with evaluation methodologies to independently develop forms and database structures to obtain and manage data according to changing objectives of the evaluation for each program; (ii) applying knowledge of statistics to select and apply appropriate data analysis strategies and learning new software applications; (iii) working with statistical analysis, statistical concepts, and methods and conducting quantitative research, including data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and report generation; (iv) using SPSS or Python for quantitative research tasks, such as data manipulation, statistical analysis, and report generation; and (v) using data visualization using tools like R or similar software to create meaningful and informative visual representations of quantitative data.
