Project Coordinator

General Position Summary

 

The Project Coordinator will support the project management team and preconstruction efforts by assisting with different aspects of the building business and projects to meet the needs of the team.  Applicant should possess the ability to work independently, manage and coordinate multiple tasks that relate to the business and/or project. Must be able to respond to internal and external correspondence following established company procedures. This position reports to, and receives direction from, the appropriate Director and/or Project Manager. 

 

 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

·         Review and process project submittals and Shop Drawings using ProCore Project Management Software. 

·         Review and process RFIs using ProCore Project Management Software.

·         Update Procore Directories for consistency

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. This includes working on multiple projects simultaneously.

·         Coordinate the development and assembly of comprehensive Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals to meet project requirements.

·         Assist with project management team to compile reports regarding financial, schedule and production. 

·         Assist with pay-applications to clients and subcontractor payments. 

·         Assist with the procurement process for materials, equipment and services required. 

·         Assist with vendor set up and subcontractor prequalification

·         Asist with Vendor and Subcontractor set up in Procore for Bid Solicitation on Projects

·         Enter purchase order and subcontract commitments into our ERP system.

·         Provide operational support in tracking and review of all Subcontractor insurance documents for compliance with corporate and project requirements.

·         Provide support and assist on Presentations and Proposal documents.

·         BIM Modeling, VDC and AutoCad are areas we are interested in developing.  Skills in these areas are a plus

·         Provides exceptional support and assistance to pre-construction and project teams.

·         Maintains an organized, thorough, and complete system for all applicable documents, computerized or manual records.

·         Other administrative duties as assigned.

Skills & Abilities

·         Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes

·         Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately, detail oriented.

·         Must be a team player but able to work independently with little supervision and engage in independent decision-making to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.

·         Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

·         Procore Construction Management Software

·         AutoCad, BIM – Navisworks, VDC is a plus

 

 

Education & Experience

·         Bachelor Degree preferred, but experience may be considered 

·         3+ year’s industry experience preferred

 

Work Environment/Job Conditions

This job is performed mainly in the office but could also require work at a project site. Activities and responsibilities require frequent sitting (often working on a computer), walking, standing, light lifting, bending, and reaching. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
