Exciting Remote Contract Opportunity for an Experienced Project Coordinator with a Government Client in Winnipeg.
We’re thrilled to present a long-term remote contract opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to support a prominent Government client. This role begins with a 6-month term and has the potential to extend for up to 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:Coordinate, attend, and actively participate in planning and collaboration meetings.Document key actions, decisions, and follow-ups from meetings.Support Project and Program Managers in preparing presentation materials and ensuring project deadlines are met.Execute project tasks as required.Maintain program management artifacts in alignment with established frameworks and methodologies.Ensure adherence to project frameworks, maintaining appropriate documentation.Provide administrative support for governance activities and prepare briefing materials for various management levels.Identify and manage project risks and issues in collaboration with Project and Program Managers.Plan, track, and manage project activities using collaboration tools.Create and maintain detailed project documentation and identify tools required for project success.Assist in setting up tools and reviewing proposed methods for alignment with policies and procedures.Provide additional administrative support as needed.
Qualifications:Minimum Experience:
At least 4 years as a Project Coordinator, preferably in a Public Sector environment.Proven experience supporting large, diverse programs within established program management frameworks.Expertise in tracking project/program budgets and schedules.Skilled in preparing reporting and briefing materials.Skills:
Strong political acumen and interpersonal skills for maintaining relationships.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive thinker.Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines for complex initiatives.Technical Proficiency:
Advanced user of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.Familiarity with Project Management best practices.Preferred Assets:
Certification from a recognized project management body, such as PMI (Project Management Institute) or PRINCE2.Public Sector experience is highly desirable.
