Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Coordinator will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

 

Requirement to travel as far as California for certain projects.

 

What you'll be doing

Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Communication and Reporting: Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants clearly and effectively Prepare and distribute project status reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation. Facilitate communication between project team members and stakeholders. Resource Management: Assist in the allocation of project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Monitor resource utilisation and adjust as necessary to ensure project success. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project risks and issues and escalate as necessary. Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results. (Lessons Learned) Administrative Support: Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budgets. Organise and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes. Support the Project Manager in administrative tasks as needed. Support in preparing all commercials to allow billing to happen within the calendar month

 

What you have

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role. Legally eligible to work in the United States.

 

Bonus points

Able to coordinate resources. Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail, consistent follow-up on all ongoing activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills; able to work well with people from many different disciplines. Able to multi-task, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong working knowledge of computer system applications (e.g.: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in customer facing roles a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
