Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator provides support to ensure project tasks are completed on schedule. This role offers administrative and logistical assistance, including organizing meetings, tracking project progress, and maintaining documentation. The Project Coordinator works closely with internal teams and contributes to the smooth execution of projects by assisting with resource management, timelines, and budget tracking.

Department Specific Functions

1. Collaborate closely with school’s admins to assist with event production and the marketing manager to ensure the successful promotion of activities.

2. Assists in evaluating, coordinating, writing, and proof-reading material for the organization, in addition to assist in the creation and design.

Minimum Qualifications             

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, or equivalent academic coursework and internships.

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey ideas and information.

Proficient in writing, copy-editing, and proofreading to ensure high-quality content production.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential for this role.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required for graphic design tasks.

Familiarity with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, iMovie, or Final Cut is preferred.

Prior experience in project management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.

Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities efficiently.

Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professionalism and composure.

Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Willingness and ability to understand and follow instructions while adapting to evolving requirements.
