Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator who will be responsible for learning, understanding, and becoming proficient in our systems for processing projects. You will work to adapt to our current Supply Chain and Procurement process and support our Purchasing and Project Management team in all areas of job setup, planning, communication, and lead time tracking. You will also learn and become efficient in the operation of key equipment and contribute to improving project flow efficiencies.
ResponsibilitiesLearn and become competent in using our system for processing projects.Adapt to our current Supply Chain and Procurement processes.Become proficient in our JobBoss project management system.Support the Purchasing and Project Management team in job setup, planning, communication, and lead time tracking.Learn and operate key equipment including waterjet, laser, plasma table, Peddinghaus, and Diato.Log and process approval/fabrication drawings to support project management.Work closely with the DSCP to identify and implement needed procedural changes to increase efficiencies in project flow.Attend daily/weekly meetings as scheduled to support the team.Collaborate with DSCP and PLT1 scheduler to develop a forecast plan for efficiency within MW.Perform other duties as directed by the Owner and/or Director of Supply Chain and Procurement.Essential Skills2+ years of Project Coordinator experience.Proficiency in project coordination, data entry, and administration.Strong skills in Microsoft Office, document control, and administrative support.Enjoys computer work and is comfortable with data entry and understanding systems.Work Environment
The work hours are negotiable with a typical schedule from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The environment is designed to support efficiency and collaboration.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
