Primary objective of the job:
The Group Technology Project Coordinator is a key enabler of this journey, providing essential support to project managers and teams. By preparing detailed reports, tracking resources and assisting with accountability for action items, you will enhance project efficiency and outcomes. Your role will bridge cross-functional teams, streamline processes and ensure projects stay aligned with organizational goals. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Support Project Managers in creating and maintaining project plans, schedules and timelines Coordinate project resources, ensuring efficient allocation and usage across multiple projects Assist in the organization of project kickoffs, status meetings and workshops
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and distribute project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks and issues Maintain accurate project documentation, including action trackers, risk logs and meeting minutes Ensure all project records are up-to-date and accessible to stakeholders
Monitoring and Issue Management
Track project progress against plans, flagging potential risks or deviations for escalation Assist in identifying and documenting project risks and dependencies, supporting mitigation efforts Monitor adherence to project deadlines and quality standards
Governance and Compliance Support
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders Ensure alignment on project goals, timelines and deliverables Provide administrative support to ensure compliance with project governance frameworks and organizational standards Help Project Managers manage action trackers and follow up on key deliverables with responsible parties
Stakeholder Communication and Coordination
Act as a central point of contact for project updates and queries, ensuring timely communication across teams Facilitate alignment between cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project success
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field 2–3 years of experience in project coordination, project support or similar roles Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and managing cross-functional teams Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA or Smartsheet Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong organizational and time management skills Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) is an advantage
