Description
OVERVIEW
Cadrex is searching for a Project Coordinator (PC) who is responsible for the successful execution of New Product (NP) Program(s) and projects. This position also requires leading customer teams to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and life of the program financial performance by managing customer programs, contracts, and business relationships.
The Project Coordinator increases customer satisfaction by managing the customer’s production through the plant utilizing all appropriate site production programs to improve quality, delivery, inventory, and supply. The PC provides critical communication to all areas of the plant and to the customer to ensure successful production builds. The PC collects, creates and presents information to the customer and internal teams to track performance and customer satisfaction. This position reports to Plant Manager. And indirectly to the overall Program Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Tracking and Coordination
+ Track NPI Projects: Ensure all projects are monitored from initiation to completion that are initiated at Dresser / Osceola sites and take them from NPI to Production.
+ Set Up Design Reviews: Schedule and organize design reviews at the start of each project in support of NPI engineering.
+ Manage Project Schedules: Create and maintain detailed project timelines, including key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables. Work closely with quality team in ensuring the documents are aligned with customer expectations.
+ Monitor Progress: Regularly review project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
Supplier and Procurement Follow-Up
+ Coordinate with Purchasing: Monitor procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
+ Communicate with Suppliers: Follow up with outside suppliers for status updates, issue resolution, and on-time delivery of parts or services. (this is a purchasing task, but a PM should also follow up with either purchasing or directly with suppliers regularly to build relationships and also take ownership of the project)
+ Escalate Issues: Proactively raise supplier-related risks to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
Communication and Reporting
+ Facilitate Cross-Functional Communication: Act as the liaison between NPI Engineering, Program Director, Customer Service, and Plant Management.
+ Report Progress: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, costs, and mitigation plans. Keep track of open actions, due dates, and responsible parties for all projects.
· MaintainKPI metricsfor program including, quality, technical performance, and delivery through all assigned product lifecycle phases
+ Support Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes for better efficiency in NPI project management between Dresser and Osceola sites.
· Providesmonthly Project updates(Status Report – Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule)
+ Customer Updates: Ensure timely communication with Customer Service regarding project changes or delays.
Risk Management and Problem Solving
+ Identify Risks: Work with cross-functional teams to identify risks impacting schedule, cost, or quality.
+ Drive Resolutions: Coordinate with teams to develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
+ Change Management: Support the team in managing project scope changes effectively. (ECO's, supplier costing, etc.)
Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ 3 years of Program/Project Management experience or a combination of 3 years Project Management and Project Engineering experience with technical product development projects
+ 3 years of phase gate development and integrated master scheduling (IMS) experience
+ Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
EDUCATION
+ Bachelor’s degree in related field

WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
