Project Coordinator

Work Arrangement: This position is preferred to be 100% onsite; however, a hybrid schedule may be considered. Please note that remote work is not an option for this role.
Work Type: Contract to Hire
Typical Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Summary: The Project Coordinator will support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the organization.  The ideal candidate will assist project managers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate project activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth execution. Track project progress and report updates to stakeholders and management. Facilitate communication among team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, reports, and presentations. Work with project managers to collect and maintain project resource plans and status updates and ensure this information is kept up to date in the Portfolio Management System Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues. Organize and schedule project-related meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and project management best practices. Support project managers in administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar tools). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
