Position OverviewQinetiQ is seeking a proactive and versatile Project Coordinator/admin to provide administrative and operational support across multiple programs at our Lorton, VA facility. The ideal candidate is a team player with a "can-do" attitude, capable of managing multiple responsibilities with efficiency and precision. No task is too big or too small for you, and you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Support Program Managers with administrative and operational tasks associated with the program. Including:Taking minutes during monthly meetings and ensuring accurate recording and dissemination to stakeholders.Maintaining and updating project/program files and records.Assisting with the coordination of monthly CDRLs and other meetings.Assisting with project scheduling and budget tracking.Performs day-to-day operating procedures to organize, direct work, interprets regulations, applies new methods or procedures, and coordinates with others, as necessary. Manage project deliverables and deadlinesCoordinate with other departments within the organizationMaintain project documentation and recordsSeek mentorship from senior engineers to develop technical skills Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations as necessary Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Must possess effective time management skills and the ability to multi-task across priorities and thrive in an adaptable fast-paced environment.Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and organization skills.Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interface with customers, division team members, and all levels of management.Proficient skills in other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Ability to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
