If you are a talented and experienced Project Coordinator/Administrator, Aplin has the right opportunity for you! Our Winnipeg-based client is looking for someone to provide administrative support to both the Safety Officer and the Projects Group.
Responsibilities:Provide ongoing administrative support to both the Safety Officer and the Projects GroupMaintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of safety application, as well as all forms and documentation relating to safetyAssist with investigating and reporting workplace injuries and incidentsAssist and attend safety committee and general safety meetingsAssist with completing annual COR auditsAssist with planning and coordinator schedulesAssist with special projects as requiredAssist other departments, including customer support as requiredOrder office and construction supplies as requiredQualifications:Post-secondary education is an assetConstruction experience is requiredExperience in dealing with a Health & Safety related roleMinimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, wearing many hatsExcellent organization skills, strong attention to detailExcellent computer skills, ie. Microsoft OfficeResourceful with problem-solving abilitiesSense of urgency, and ability to adapt to various scenariosPositive and friendly attitude and a strong work ethicValid Driver’s license for occasional site work, approximately 10%
