Project Coordinator - Automation, Design, and Construction

**Position Overview**

As a Project Coordinator you provide analysis and support for projects, administrative, and general operations. You are responsible for independent action on multiple projects as assigned. Tasks vary according to the priorities of the department and could include process improvement. As needed, tasks will include supporting specific sub functions for a set amount of time to assist day to day operations, develop sustainable processes, and enable improved onboarding/training capabilities.
**Job Description**
**You contribute by:**
+ Organizing and planning work activities of the Department for review with appropriate senior staff
+ Implementing and managing tasks in accordance with departmental objectives and coordinate with managers/team to plan and execute projects as well as participate as a member of project teams
+ Assisting senior staff with project development activities: compiling data, drafting reports, and assisting with special projects. Compile and analyze data, and draft project reports for review by senior staff
+ Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, and budgets. Initiate and maintain contact with key personnel, including but not limited to: staff, department heads and external parties
+ Providing administrative support, prepare necessary materials for meetings, such as creating reports or reviewing report requirements. Handle documentation and provide follow up on important actions/decisions from meetings including relevant documentation and reports
+ Coordinating with key stakeholders involved in the project (such as executives, internal customer/s and external vendor/s), as defined by project requirements
+ Collaborating with senior staff team to assess current onboarding effectiveness and what areas need the most support. As needed, participate in job shadowing, learning and documenting to create, share and educate team members on key SOP's to assist with overall effectiveness of the team and operation. Partner with hiring managers for onboarding needs for new employees, including by not limited to: setting up meetings, providing specific operations information, and collaborating with other departments for information, engagements, and necessary tools for the role
