Project Coordinator for JYP EDM Project (MSP4)

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for coordinating the effective implementation of the JYP-Every Dream Matters (Medical Support Project 4) Project.  It is also responsible in coordinating with target beneficiaries in preparing of case admission reports, regular monitoring of cases, coordination with identified hospitals, and other project stakeholders/partners like the local government units particularly Municipal Health Office (MHO) and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and other identified community stakeholders. It is also responsible in writing organizational and donor-required reports.

Major Responsibilities:

Ensures that the project is implemented and managed based on approved proposal and agreed timelines.Coordinates with Field Offices in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao as well as AP teams for the identification and management of cases in their respective areas.Organizes & provide support (logistics, procurement, etc.) to the AP teams in the implementation of project activities in close collaboration with AP teams.Prepare case admission reports of targeted clientele.Coordinates with hospitals and other project stakeholders/partners for resource mobilization and maximization.Support AP teams in linking and negotiating with potential partners.Provides leadership and accountability in the implementation of the project.Conducts regular monitoring activities to keep track of the progress of project implementation and provide feedback to immediate supervisor.Initiates consultative planning and feed backing with project stakeholders.Prepares and submits evidence-based regular reports, and evaluation report to his/her immediate supervisor.Monitors project spending based on the approved project budget.Manages all project documents (e.g. meeting/ training documentation, attendance sheets, receipts, etc.) and makes it available to internal customers and donor.Performs other tasks related to project implementation as maybe requested by her/his supervisor.

Qualifications:

Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in Community Development, Social Work, Social Science, Public Health, Medical Sciences or any related courses and/or equivalent experience in project management.At least one (1) year experience in related health, report writing and monitoring of health projects.Competence in the use of MS Office and excellence in both oral and written English communication especially in technical report writing and analysis.
