Job Overview The Project Coordinator – Business Development, Estimating, and Pre-Construction plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational growth and project success. This role involves managing activities across business development, estimating, and pre-construction planning to ensure seamless project initiation and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in coordinating project bids, client relationships, and pre-construction activities. Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: The position duties include: Business Development Coordination Market Research and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and funding sources. Track and evaluate competitor activities and emerging market demands. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners. Coordinate and prepare for networking events, meetings, and conferences to promote the organization. Proposal Development: Organize and prepare proposals, including gathering technical inputs and ensuring alignment with client requirements. Develop marketing materials, presentations, and pitch decks tailored to specific opportunities. Business Development Reporting: Maintain a pipeline of leads, opportunities, and client interactions. Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of business development efforts. Estimating Coordination & Estimating Support: Assist in gathering and organizing data for detailed project cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with project goals. Bid Preparation and Submission: Coordinate the preparation and timely submission of bids, ensuring all required documentation is included. Review vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure they meet project requirements. Post-Bid Analysis: Analyze bid results and provide feedback to improve future estimating and submission processes. Pre-Construction Planning & Pre-Construction Coordination: Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review project plans and specifications. Support the development of pre-construction submittals, execution plans, and schedules. Ensure all pre-construction activities are documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Verify that pre-construction plans align with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. ct quality checks to ensure deliverables meet expectations. Scheduling and Logistics: Assist in developing project schedules, identifying key milestones, and coordinating resources for the pre-construction phase. Organize and manage logistics for early-stage project activities. Job Requirements Mandatory: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, business development, estimating, or pre-construction roles. Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, or a related field. Demonstrated leadership ability and good communication skills are required. Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen. Valid state driver’s license.
