Project Coordinator I

GENERAL DESCRIPTION \n

The Project Coordinator will support a very dynamic operation including but not limited to aviation services, prototyping, manufacturing, kitting, integration, and delivery. Will be responsible for directing, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the Program Manager.\n

DUTIES\n\nPlanning, monitoring, coordinating, and reviewing all aspects of assigned projects.\nUtilize organizational databases such as Costpoint, Tyonek One, and SharePoint daily to support various program activities.\nMaintaining weekly, monthly and quarterly project status updates for the Program Manager.\nFollowing up the progress of program action items and other tasks and reporting to the Program Manager.\nAssist Program Manager with coordinating Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. \nMaintain and record meeting minutes.\nAssist Program Manager in creating Contract Data Requirements list (CDRL) items for customer delivery ensuring CDRL information is accurate and IAW customer requirements. \nWork with Program Manager to maintain customer awareness of work status and schedule delays.\nMonitor and schedule shipments to meet customer due dates.\nDevelop Bill of Materials (BOM) required using drawings and\/or statement of work (SOW).\nCollaborate with the procurement and finance teams to create and facilitate the conversion of Purchase Requests (PRs) into Purchase Orders (POs) ensuring that all necessary information, such as quantities, specifications, and delivery timelines, is accurately transposed from PRs to POs.\nUpdate the Program Manager on the status of Purchase Orders, highlighting any potential delays or issues.\nPerform inventory control activities by coordinating with Logistics Department to track incoming items and stored inventory for accountability purposes.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS \n\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 1 year of task-related experience. \nCurrently enrolled in an AA program leading to a BA\/BS Degree preferred.\nAircraft experience is highly desirable.\nStrong problem-solving skills: ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations for problem resolution.\nHigh degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.\nAbility to enter data accurately into databases.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as drawings and\/or statement of work (SOW).\nComputer skills; MS Office Suite; MS Project; with ability to learn additional computer skills.\nCapability to acquire further computer skills or adapt to additional software programs.\nInterpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with external stakeholders such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.\nCapability to learn and comprehend corporate policies and procedures, along with their alignment with the objectives of Tyonek Native Corporation.\nProfessional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service, and follow-up.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n
