Project Coordinator Intern

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional and detailed individual for our Project Coordinator Intern position. This position is in Research and Development and supports product development teams in the maintenance of existing products. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. As a Project Coordinator Intern, a typical day might include the following:  

Provide administrative support to the department and project teams, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, generating meeting minutes, prepare presentations, creating and maintaining action item lists.

Provide support to project teams including maintaining project files, creating and maintaining reports.

Manage simultaneous, small projects as assigned.

Provide support for large projects.

Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

Understand. Create. Simplify.

Other duties as assigned.

This job might be for you if: 

You are a current student pursuing a BS degree in Business, MIS or related field.

Proven Expertise in Microsoft Office programs

Ability to learn and communicate technical information.

Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Knowledge of Python and Lotus Notes.

Knowledge of Agile project management skills, techniques, and terminology.

Knowledge of Jira or other Atlassian based tools

Knowledge of project management skills, techniques, and terminology.

This position is onsite.
