The Riley Cheer Guild is seeking an experienced project coordinator to partner with our Director on the day-to-day operations of our hospital auxiliary. This on-site position located in the original building of the Riley Hosptial for Children campus will receive direct mentorship from staff and the board to explore all aspects of the non-profit auxiliary including budgeting, financial reconciliation, donor database management, and community-based communication through calls, meet and greets, and digital engagement through emails and social media. This role engages with hospital staff and clinicians through the Toy Room program by assisting team members with resources needed to enhance their clinical practice. The candidate chosen for this position will engage with professional communities throughout IU Health, IU School of Medicine, IU School of Nursing, IU Health Foundation, and the Riley Children's Foundation.
Basic accounting experience which as Quickbooks is preferred
Basic flyer and newsletter design preferred
Database record experience preferred
Provides project management support to leaders and team members. Assists with and supports team planning, execution, monitoring progress, and delivering end results. Collaborates across teams to ensure alignment. Assesses situations, gathers appropriate information and input, and makes recommendations to leaders. Ensure quality customer service and professional representation of the team and the department.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• Clinical license and/or other certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• 0-3 years of experience is required.
• Experience with matrix organization and complex work environment a plus.
• Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions is required.
• Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
